  One fan declared that the show 'makes it impossible to get an early night' as the episode ended with yet another cliffhanger and the prospect of a final showdown between Sergeant Cawood

  Elsewhere in his interview with Radio 4 Jame spoke about the third and
  final season and the show's popularity.
  
  He said: 'We are so aware that this is quite a special series so to
  come back is a complete pleasure, there is pressure to make it good but
  we just feed off that expectation it fuels us in a positive way.'
  
  On the ending of this series which is yet to air he added: 'I think
  it will leave people satisfied.
